STEVEN KESSEL, M.D. joined PBCC in 2004. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, and did his Internal Medicine training at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He then completed his clinical cardiology fellowship at UMDNJ-Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. Dr. Kessel is currently serving as Vice Chairman of the Cardiology department at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center and was Chief of Cardiology at Jupiter Medical Center from 2018-2020. He has a special interest in heart failure and joins Dr. Sein in the supervision of our non-invasive diagnostic imaging program. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and softball, and is a die hard NY Giants fan. He is married to Nina, a clinical psychologist, and is the proud father of their two daughters, Sara and Rachel.
